Dawgs On Top Privacy Policy

Dawgs On Top ("the app," "we," "us") is a free sports prediction game made by Andrew Stevens. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because the app collects very little.
What we collect
Account information. To sign in, you give us your email address. We send a one-time sign-in code to that address; we never see or store a password. You also choose a display name, which is shown to the other members of any league you join. You may optionally add a profile photo from your photo library; it is shown next to your name to members of your leagues. The app accesses your photo library only when you choose to pick a photo, and only the photo you select is uploaded.
Game activity. The picks you make, the leagues you create or join, and the time you made each pick. This is the content of the game and is what the app exists to keep track of. Your picks are visible to other members of your league only after the game in question has kicked off.
That is the complete list. The app does not collect your location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or payment information, and it does not use analytics or tracking software.
How we use it
We use your email address to sign you in and to send sign-in codes. We use your display name and game activity to run the game: showing picks, scores, and standings to you and your league. We do not use your information for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with anyone except the service providers below.
Service providers
The app runs on infrastructure we do not operate ourselves. Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.

Retention and deletion
We keep your account and game activity for as long as your account exists so that league history and standings remain accurate for everyone in the league. You can delete your account at any time from the League tab in the app; this permanently removes your login, email address, display name, and profile photo. Your past picks stay in your leagues' history under the name "Deleted member" so that other members' past results do not change; they are no longer connected to you. You can also email privacy@dawgsontop.app and we will delete your account within 30 days.
Children
Dawgs On Top is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email privacy@dawgsontop.app and we will remove it.
Money
The app does not take, hold, transfer, or pay out money, and has no in-app purchases. Any arrangement between members of a league is theirs alone and is not part of the app.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls so that league members can see only what the game rules allow. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you by email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email privacy@dawgsontop.app and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information and do not engage in targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and let you know in the app. Minor wording changes may be made without notice.
